Mahelerecen is participating in NGO INDIA-2012 exhibition at Gurgoan, New Delhi from 16-18th March 2012.
   Our Organization is participating 3 days programme Exhibition and conference held at Gurgoan. we display our activities in our stall. So many visitors are visited our stall. more than 150 Non profit organizations are participated from India and global.  












Leprosy Still Plagues TN - Times of India (18th November 2011)
Leprosy or Hansen’s Disease, health department officials say, isn’t a plague of the past. Shankari is among the 3,295 cases being treated in the state for leprosy. Along with Shankari, 263 children are being treated for infection. (more)

Rehabilitation loan given

28th September  2011, the rehabilitation loan is given to Mr.Paramasivam and Mr. Malaiveeran, thay got that loan for purchase of Goats and Sewing machine. they are from  Alagerkovil  block.

Special NSS camp:
St. Britto Higher Sec. School conducts a NSS special camp at Sathya moorthy Nager, Samayanallour on 11th August,2011 .   Leprosy awareness program was conducted to the NSS students  by Mr. S. Maria Xavier , Mahelerecen.

16-11-2010  Find new Deformed patents
We heared about that there is some untreated cases are living in the Gujiliambarai are in Dindugul District. It has come in the Tamil Daily. So we went to the area & traced out the leprosy deformed cases and detected 7 deformed cases . we advised them to come our HQ OR  to go government hospital to treat their disease










12-10-2010 Health education Programme

Our Mahelerecen teem has given awareness programme to the high school students in Alager Kovil. We explained about the sign symptom of Leprosy and how to find out the leprosy cases and we show flash cards & distributed pamphlets to the students.  











6-10-2010 Skin check up Programme

Our Mahelerecen teem has checked skin check up for high school students. We examined in Nilayur Thiruparankundram P U School and found 2  cases among the students. We assessed one old treated case(girl), that case we declared as R.F.T (the patch is disappeared )

Rehabilitation loan given

first September 2010, the rehabilitation loan is given to Mr.Kandan and Mrs. Karupai, thay got that loan for the devolopment of their Eversilver shop in the place of Thiruparankundram block.  












      Free MCR Foot ware distribution programme camp for our Disabled persons.


   MCR ( Micro cellular Rubber ) Chapels distribution programme was conducted  on 19.06.2008 in our Office. Our Special guests  Mr .Kasper jansen  & Mrs. Agnes Benedictus Volunteers from Netherlands  participated and they distributed MCR foot ware for our 20 deformed  leprosy sufferers. We also selected four deformity patients for reconstructive surgery.
